For a full-novel RH book， this was such a good read！ I loved everything about this。 ❤️ while I don’t recommend reading the whole books in this series （since i also didn’t but read ruining dahlia and got scarred over that one）， i definitely recommend this one。 Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti always created good as shit RH books。

Amazing！ I absolutely loved this book！ At first I thought it was a stand-alone but as soon as I got over halfway I realized it was part of a series of interconnected books！ It was a 5/5🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶！！ Will definitely be buying this in paperback。 It was hilarious and sexy！ Would recommend！！ Now off to start at the beginning of the series！

Damn。 Fav。 Read again！！ By far the best of this series。 I think the only bit of England missing from this book was a sausage roll。 😂 I wish Church had stayed a little sillier in the middle and I wish Anya had kept a few more pranks going… but that is serious nit picking。

I really wanted this to be a 5 star book， but it just wasn't for me。 I am so sad about that。 There were parts of this that I was LIVING for， and then others towards the end where I just was over it。 First 691 pages is tough but I still loved the story， the 6-7 epilogues is what really killed it for me。 I should have stopped at the end of the first epilogue。 I really loved all the characters in the harem， I loved Church from the get go， and Benny stole my heart。 It gets a little confusing as Benn I really wanted this to be a 5 star book， but it just wasn't for me。 I am so sad about that。 There were parts of this that I was LIVING for， and then others towards the end where I just was over it。 First 691 pages is tough but I still loved the story， the 6-7 epilogues is what really killed it for me。 I should have stopped at the end of the first epilogue。 I really loved all the characters in the harem， I loved Church from the get go， and Benny stole my heart。 It gets a little confusing as Benny is acting as Danny for the 1st half of the book， but what really drove me crazy was just the lack of respect that Frank had for him， even after everything was smoothed over。 I just couldn't shake that feeling。 I felt that Frank was just the toxic one of the group and I would have totally been fine her being with Benny and Church only。 This is all just a me thing， I didn't care for him。 I loved the twists in the story line， and the slight suspense of it。 I feel like there was a lot of dialogue and detail I probably could have done without that would have shortened this up but over all it was good。 The downsides I have are all me based and not anything on the authors， I just couldn't connect with Frank like I did Benny， Church and Anya and that ruined some things for me。“You， Anya Butcher， are the fire that burns in my chest every time I look at you。 You’re the passion which opens my eyes every time I want to blinker myself from the truth。 You’re the breath of fresh air in my lungs which shook up a life which was always going to be stagnant for me。 I’m a violent， honourless man and I was content to stay as such until you。” 。。。more

This sets the bar extremely high for the genre of dark mafia reverse harem。 This book could be the quintessential story for this theme with all of the elements covered: violence， intrigue， deception， lust， and very explicit sex。 The characters fit into their tropes; the alpha， the tender charmer， the tall dark and stoic， with their badass heroine， but each develops along the way in a believable way。 The authors have written an authentic journey from forced marriage to true love with believable h This sets the bar extremely high for the genre of dark mafia reverse harem。 This book could be the quintessential story for this theme with all of the elements covered: violence， intrigue， deception， lust， and very explicit sex。 The characters fit into their tropes; the alpha， the tender charmer， the tall dark and stoic， with their badass heroine， but each develops along the way in a believable way。 The authors have written an authentic journey from forced marriage to true love with believable heartache and growth along the way。 My favorite part of the story is the way in which the characters break their bonds of conventional monogamy。 This is not set in a world of shifters or society designed around multiple partners。 So in order to get to the destination of the harem the characters have to struggle along the way。 The love depicted amongst the men and especially the care that they demonstrate while overcoming their conventional expectations of sex and love was really special and particularly endearing。 I counted 13 explicit sex scenes in the total 668 pages。 For those that appreciate high rate of sex in their romance I think you will be pleased。 However， the last 100 pages are almost entirely sexless， which to me means the book is at least 100 pages too long。 This is why I can’t give it 5 stars。 Additionally， while the plot is dense and intense and takes the reader on a wild ride， a lot of critical closure happens off page。 A character goes out to resolve a major issue and returns in the next moment without the reader being along for that experience。 It cheapens the story a bit。 But overall， if you want the mafia dark reverse harem to end all mafia dark reverse harems， this is it。 。。。more

By Far My Least Favorite in the Series While I have really enjoyed this series this book just didn’t do it for me。 I felt like it was drawn out 。 We were 60% in the book and we had already resolved 80% of the plot。 Yet it just kept going。 Even after the “villain” had been dealt with we still had several epilogues of a plot line that had already been wrapped up。 This one just wasn’t for me。
